Blackberry Storm

blackberry_stormDie hard BlackBerry fans were aghast when news of the Storm broke because the device was missing onfeature that all previous BlackBerry handsets had boasted as a main usability point: a keyboard. The Storm has a 3.25in screen, but no keyboard. Not even a little one.

However, what it lacks inthe traditional keyboard, it makes up in other interesting feature such as the tilting screen, featuring different virtual keyboards which you can choose from and a satisfying click that reassures you your commands are being met.

The Storm also offers resolution of 480×360 pixels to show off high-definition detail and works the built-in accelerometer to make the most of the potrait-to-landscape changeovers. This makes web surfing text messaging and watching videos with ease.

Besides bpasting a 3.2-megapixels camera with the ususal features of aurtoflash, autofocus and 2x digital zoom, it also boasts video recording of up to 30 frames per second and supports WMV, H.263. H.264 and MP4 formats.

The Storm also has a mute button which shuts off incoming ringing calls when it is not convenient.  Those of you who like to make use of your free time can enjoy the bundled applications such as Facebook, Flickr and YouTube, although Wi-Fi is off the menu for the Storm, which is a massive blow to the Storm. In this case the user has to depend on the device’s 3G connectivity.
